Stopped by during a road trip through the Balkans: Ivica and his wife were wonderful hosts: very warm welcome, prepared awesome food for us for diner even after we arrived late and of course we had to try the homemade rakija. (Recommended!!) The mountain house is a lovely place and the night’s rest was special. Try to get up early to catch the sun rise over the mountains, it is worth it. A little nap later it’s time for the perfect breakfast in this peaceful place.

Super nice location with a great view very close to border what makes this place super hub for those who travel from Serbia to Montenegro! Amazing hosts offer the tasty dinner and breakfast (not included in price but definitely worth to have it) and there is a nice space for kids to play. Totally recommended!

This is one of the best value for money stays we have had…and we travel a lot. The food was incredible (fresh and delicious and very low cost) and the service by the young man who is waiter/ receptionist was 5star.

The wooden house is very well equipped, the shower works perfectly, the bed is very comfortable; the place is really quiet and pleasant. And the top of the top is Natasha's breakfast with her homemade bread and the best raspberry juice I have ever had. Do not hesitate to take it on the small covered terrace behind the house: the view of the mountain is magnificent.

I travel often, both for work and for pleasure, and I can honestly say that Atelje 1981 is one of the most remarkable apartments I’ve ever stayed in, as it combines the poetic soul of a lived place with all the comfort and care of a freshly renovated, lovingly managed home. The apt has its own identity, shaped by the artistic legacy of the painter who once lived and worked here—coming back in the evening and leafing through the beautifully catalogues of his work is a wonderful experience. And then there is the Polimski family, who are extraordinarily warm and welcoming hosts and made us feel more than just guests. Finally, Bijelo Polje — a small town, yet surprisingly a place where a lot of creative energy has taken root: from the painter Polimski, to the poet Risto Ratković who lived just next door, and the epic storyteller Avdo Međedović. I couldn’t recommend this place more, hope to be back soon!!

We stood there for only one night, but it was enough to see the magic. The tiny A frame is magical, practical, and fully equipped. The cleanliness is impeccable. They helped us with a minor problem with our car, and we ate exceptional home cooked dinner with products from their small farm. We even had a small nigh fire. Lovely people! Good money value! We will come back🥰

Quirky little cabin on way to national park. Pretty much everything you need inside. Off road parking for motorbike. Really helpful owner. Breakfast and dinner available at reasonable price. Owner had 2 Lovely friendly dog's. Owner was very keen to accept any advice or suggestions for improvements as a newish accommodation. We could see he had already taken on board previous occupiers suggestion and put curtains up. Nice outside area to eat dinner behind cabin.
