Excellent place for relaxation away from everything with bungalows very close to the beach. Relaxed and helpful staff, interesting cuisine with a predominance of seafood.

This is a million star stay, close to nature and tranquil. A little paradise. Do not expect fancy facilities, you are in the middle of nature, with a private beach, to enjoy the sea, the forest and the Milky Way.

Diana Lodge is like a magical, wonderful place that u wish to be one day. This time it was real and Everything about this place is pur magic. The people were outstandig, starting with the Host Beatrice. Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. Beautiful bungalows in a paradise garden built with respect for the surrounding nature. We couldn't stop taking pictures! Adrian and his team are great. We had a wonderful time listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying great food. We watched breathtaking sunsets from the pool with a drink or we went snorkeling on the coral, which is a few meters from the resort. They offer great tours. We went snorkeling with turtles (they really swim next to you :)), went to see lemurs in Lemuria Land, we saw how people live in a local village... Everything was perfectly organized. Veronika resort has its own dive center. We went diving for the first time, which was an incredible experience for us and our children. This place is simply magical, in contact with beautiful nature, surrounded by friendly staff. We will definitely come back!
