Lago is a small family owned hotel in Lagarin, some 7km from Ohrid city. It’s right next to the (almost) private beach with a couple of beach bars. Not too crowded, we enjoyed a couple of very chill afternoons there. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, hotel is new and clean. Our room was nice, we opted for balcony with lake view. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with nice spread. All in all, a good value for money.

We had a very comfortable stay. It’s a quieter area of the city, and the villa is further from the lake but we did not mind a quick walk. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the furniture brand new. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from the window. The host is very welcoming and nice. Parking slots available in front of the building.

Our recent stay was truly exceptional. The hosts were amazing and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Their garden, brimming with homegrown produce, added a unique and delightful twist to the breakfast which was very unique experience. We have also enjoyed the private tour in their distillery and tasting their unique liquors.
