We had stayed Centara Grand Island Resort for 5 days over the year end and the new year with our family of 4 including an infant & kid. We enjoyed swimming together with lots of beautiful fishes and leaf sharks in quite transparent sea having lots of corals. In the evening, we could see a beautiful sunset and stars. All of staffs in the hotel have a great hospitality and service spirits that fully satisfied and enjoyed us until the end. The water flooting villa and its amenities always had been kept clean and meals served were really wonderful. We would like to say thank you all in the hotel as our children looked so happy and the trip became an unforgettable memory for us. If we will have a chance, we definitely would like to visit there again.

The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, made me feel like at home. The room was super clean, surprised that they seem to do the house-cleaning twice a day. Water, tea, and coffee in the room was always refilled. The breakfast was nice too, there was the choice of continental and local, and I recommend the local! I really liked their garden as well, it was relaxing to look at it from the restaurant. Special thanks to the host, the speed boat I was originally booked for to return to Male was canceled due to the sudden bad weather, but the host have promptly arranged to book for a flight to Male instead, and I have managed to safely return to the international airport on time. Could not show my appreciation enough. Highly recommend this hotel if ever staying at Dhigurah!

Excellent service, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff, beautifully clean rooms, the location of the hotel was amazing and the whole island is simply TOP! When I go to the Maldives again, only to Dhigurah island and to the Whaleshakbeach hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Unwind Dhigurah for 8 nights with my wife. The service by manager Nilanka and the team was exceptional. We felt like at home all the time. We were taken care of, fed and entertained by the team. All our requests were solved immediately and to the maximum. I think this is a perfect stay on the small local island Dhigura. Service and coziness you'll get there is unparalleled. The location is perfect — the hotel is the closest to the bikini beach (10 minutes walking) and to the sand bank (40 min walking). There are many good restaurants around the hotel (Saavaa, Dhiguveli), several super-markets, activities (kayaks, paddle board, etc). We took a day trip snorkeling from the hotel, the crew was great, and we saw 3 Manta Rays (fantastic creatures!). There are travel blogs on YouTube, which we used to select the island and this hotel. I think Dhigurah is considered one of the best options among local island and we can definitely recommend it. It was one of the best vacations for us, we totally refreshed. We wholeheartedly recommend Nova Maldives without reservation! We spent 10 days there in May 2023. What sets this island apart? While all resorts in the Maldives have the beautiful ocean, house reefs, beaches, palm trees and similar leisure activities, Nova goes the extra mile with its exceptional service and hospitality. The staff members aren't merely friendly and polite; they genuinely engage with guests in an honest, authentic and caring manner. Whenever we had a small request or concern, they promptly addressed it to our complete satisfaction. For instance, when we realized we didn't have an underwater housing for our GoPro, the dive center graciously allowed us to borrow one at no charge. If a cocktail at the bar didn't meet our expectations, the bartender himself came to offer a suitable replacement. Following a total renovation, the rooms and facilities are in perfect condition, as the resort reopened in September 2022. Upon arrival, new guests receive a traditional Maldivian welcome from the manager, providing insights into the local culture and customs. Nova takes care to minimize the use of single-use plastics on the island, demonstrating their commitment to protecting the environment. The spa offers outstanding massages and there is a wide range of activities to enjoy, including beachside movie nights, live band performances and daily sports, yoga and creative sessions. The dining experience is exceptional, with a great buffet offering a vast selection at every meal. Additionally, they prepare personalized dishes, such as made-to-order sandwiches for lunch, waffles for breakfast or teppanyaki and wok dishes for dinner. We highly recommend trying the sushi lunch and teppanyaki evening at the Wink Restaurant. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to chef James, chef Rey, Fitri and all the other staff members at Nova (there are too many names to mention them all) who made our vacation incredibly enjoyable and unforgettable!
