We really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean, the breakfast was great, the staff was very helpful and pleasant and were happy to help us in everything, we had a dog with us, the only problem was that we had to go upstairs with a larger dog up steep stairs, but even that wasn't such an obstacle. A wonderful place! A beautiful house in a beautiful setting, with spacious and comfortable rooms designed with great attention to aesthetics and functionality. The bathroom is almost palatial. Delicious and abundant breakfasts served in a magnificent dining room. Definitely stop by if it's on your way. If it's not, change your travel plans! :) Ark van Thesinge is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Its location near Groningen makes it a great base for exploring this part of the Netherlands – within an hour's drive, you will find many interesting and beautiful places worth visiting.
