Clean, beautiful, very central location, amazingly friendly stuff. The shared kitchen had everything one could have hoped for. It's incredible for its price.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean, the breakfast was great, the staff was very helpful and pleasant and were happy to help us in everything, we had a dog with us, the only problem was that we had to go upstairs with a larger dog up steep stairs, but even that wasn't such an obstacle. A wonderful place! A beautiful house in a beautiful setting, with spacious and comfortable rooms designed with great attention to aesthetics and functionality. The bathroom is almost palatial. Delicious and abundant breakfasts served in a magnificent dining room. Definitely stop by if it's on your way. If it's not, change your travel plans! :) Ark van Thesinge is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Its location near Groningen makes it a great base for exploring this part of the Netherlands – within an hour's drive, you will find many interesting and beautiful places worth visiting. And finally: if you're lucky, you'll have the chance to chat with Anat, the lovely owner, who will give you tips on what to see and where to go in the area.
