It was a cold but sunny day and inside it was bright during the day and warm and cosy at nighttime. The tower is full of character. Massive beams, cosy bedrooms and soulfully decorated. The ideal place to discuss an interesting book, reconnect and remember and celebrate the birthday of our mother who gave us so much during her life, including passion, curiosity, kindness and above all endless love.

We loved our stay at camping de Heemtuin. The safari tent was very spacious and comfortable and offered everything we were expecting from a rental tent. The views from the tent were amazing and the sounds of nature is really calming. In just 5 minutes by bike you have a few restaurants and a large supermarket in the nearby town. We missed a few kitchen items in the tent but the team quickly brought some new ones.

Ark van Thesinge is situated in Thesinge and has a heated pool and garden views. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and free shuttle service.

Everything was great, the environment, the rooms, the small details in the bathroom. Our hosts were really nice and fixed us a great breakfast . We spent unfortunately only one night on our way to Amsterdam but could've spent more days cycling/walking around Thesinge and Groningen which is only 5 km away.
