Tom & Heidi were the most kind and helpful hosts you could imagine! Their place was in the perfect location for backcountry skiing, with a shop nearby for anything you might need. Tom shared great tips on where to go, and they even had a workshop where you could fix your gear, dry your boots, or rent backcountry equipment if needed. The small cottage we stayed in was just perfect—fully equipped for cooking and super cozy. We also had our dog with us, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Their sauna is an absolute must-try, and you can even take a dip in the ocean afterward! As a bonus, on our last night, we were treated to a beautiful display of the northern lights right above the cottage. It was truly an unforgettable stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

It’s just a hidden gem. Right by the main road trough Northern Norway. Gas and groceries near by, and a restaurant. But the best is to cook your own gourmet meal in the cabin. It has everything. This is #5, with a sauna and the fantastic glass floor. It’s just such a nice experience. I have visited lots of cabins, hotels and Airbnb’s, but this is something else- in the cabin category. You just feel at home here. Much thanks to the welcoming owners. This is my 3.rd time here, and I most likely will visit again.

We visited one snowy weekend in December. We enjoyed the nearby mountain trails, which are well-groomed and illuminated at night. 200 metres from the apartment there is a cross county track and trailhead where you can hike to a skihytta (ski cabin). We rented snow shoes from Elektro-Sport, who gave us a map of nearby attractions and services. The owner of this charming apartment is helpful and considerate. The place is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. It has been thoughtfully furnished. It is warm and inviting. We made room for two teenagers by installing one of them on the comfortable sofa. We did not try the sauna, but it looks lovely. The apartment is perched high above the small town of Lyngseidet which has most things a visitor might need, including a regular ferry service, places to buy groceries and a general/sporting goods store. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect view, hot tub, sauna, good kitchen and great hosts! Appartment was really big and there was enough space to hang our skiing equipment and wet clothes to dry. Huge PLUS was a skiboot dryer!
