Traveling all the way from Oslo to Tromsø, this is by far the best cabin I’ve stayed in throughout Norway! The room was cozy, and the amenities were excellent. I particularly appreciated having both a traditional coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine – such a thoughtful touch. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. Plus, there’s a supermarket just a 5-minute drive away, which was super convenient. The little snowy yard in front of the cabin was picturesque, especially with the view of the yellow house across and the mountains in the background – it felt so romantic. And to top it all off, we saw the northern lights three nights in a row! The host’s service was impeccable. They reminded us of the supermarket closing hours and even let us know when the northern lights appeared – how amazing is that! The only minor issue was the water heater. It seemed to be shared with the upstairs unit, as the hot water ran out mid-shower once. But since the room itself was so warm and cozy, it didn’t bother me much. I would absolutely love to come back and stay here for a longer time!

Top! This one was our favourite accommodation of our Lofoten trip. With the renovation just being finished (June 2025), we had the pleasure of being one of the first guests here. The cabin wonderfully combines the flair of traditional Rorbuar with modern amenities. The owner is super friendly.

Absolutely lovely hotel, with a wonderful room - we booked the corner room with a view, make sure to get that, it's absolutely stunning. Breakfast was also absolutely delicious. Staff was super friendly and a joy to speak to.

Their breakfast spread with freshly baked bread became our daily ritual, and dinner's creative interpretation of local seafood left us speechless - particularly the signature cod dish that still lingers in our taste buds. What truly set this experience apart was the genuine warmth of staff members who remembered our names and shared fascinating local stories. Their thoughtful recommendations for hidden hiking trails led us to discover secluded beaches with starfish-covered shores.
