The hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-furnished, with a calm atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location is peaceful and safe, yet conveniently close to shops and local eateries. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. Every meal was freshly prepared, full of authentic Nepali flavors, and served with such care that it felt like dining with family. It’s clear the hosts take pride in sharing their culture and hospitality with guests. What I loved most was the personal connection — the hosts truly make you feel special, taking the time to chat, share stories, and ensure you’re comfortable at all times. Staying here wasn’t just about having a place to sleep; it was about experiencing the warmth of Nepali life. If you’re visiting Kathmandu and want a place that’s clean, comfortable, and filled with heart, Kattle Homestay is the perfect choice. I left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return!

The hotel is new and has everything you need. Rooms are spacious and has a luxurious touch to it. They have a restaurant at the ground floor where the free breakfast is served. It is a great place to meet and mingle with other guests. Room service is also available in case guests want to order from the restuarant. Breakfast was buffet and has everything you need to start your day. Bread, rice, meat, veggies and fruits, juices and coffee/tea, cereals, pancakes etc. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and will cater to every request you would have. The location was perfect! Just a few minutes from the Thamel Square where the action is. (You can find a lot of Japanese, Korean, Chinese restaurants in the Thamel Square. Souvenir shops are also there.) One-time pick up OR drop off from the airport is an added bonus that I have never experienced before and saved me effort and money. And... they have a weighing scale at the reception to check your baggage! How cool and usueful is that. Above all, the hotel manager, Mr Ganga is the best! He goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel welcomed, are comfortable, and having a great time. I had a private tour on my second day, got lost somehow, and when I couldn't contact the driver, he went out of his way and picked me up in his scooter so that I could meet the driver. I've been to quite a few hotels in different countries and Magnificent Hotel in Kathmandu is definitely one of the top 3 hotels I've been. Thanks to everyone especially Mr Ganga for making my stay in Nepal a memorable one.
