Bulbul Farm is the perfect place if you're looking for peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful people who will take care of you. We spent a good part of our time there with Aashish, Maya, Ganesh and Ashbin who welcomed us as if we were part of their family. The traditional Nepalese food was very good and hearty. The room was perfect for 2 people. If you want to go for a walk in Tansen, which is just a few minutes away by bus, Aashish will be happy to help you! The outside area is very large and perfect for relaxing close to nature. You can take a walk around the farm, relax in the hammock or enjoy a drink on the terrace. We highly recommend this place and hope we will come back soon !

The lovely home of Janaki and Dhan provides everything a traveller needs: Lovely, comfortable rooms with a private bathroom, a fantastic view over Tansen and the „white lake“ (mist in the valley) from the balcony paired with the warm welcome of hosts that care. Though tucked against the hillside it is only a 5 min walked through the lively alleys down to the centre of town. This place is absolutely recommended for people seeking a welcoming homestay.

It was a very pleasant stay at Sunshine Homestay. I slept well, ate well and felt at home! The hosts are very kind, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Comfortable bed, hot shower, nourishing food and nice view on the town from the breakfast/dinner table on the terrace. I am glad I was there and would stay there again!

Located in the city centre, this guesthouse it's simply perfect! The rooms are large and clean, just as the bathroom. The view from the terrace and from the room's balcony it's amazing! Kamal and Sumitra ( with their children ) could not be more kind, always ready to help the guest for everything. The breakfast ( included ) it's good but don't miss a dinner cooked by Sumitra: it will be one of the best and most authentic meal that you could have in Nepal ( and cheap as well ). Even the price of the room it's definitly affordable! So, if in Tansen, just stay here: you will feel at home if not better!

Just an amazing view from the room especially in the morning hours! If the weather is just right you see the sun arising above an ocean of clouds. Lovely food was served for breakfast and dinner!
