The resort was awesome. Our manageress attended our every need. The bungalow accommodations were very comfortable and we were right on the beach. The evening dinners were so delicious with many different mains and sides. Dessert was also delicious. We were very spoiled with the meals prepared just for us. Well done! The pool was clean and delightful to hang out in. We went to the Coral Gardens with our hostess and family and had a great time looking at many varieties of fish and coral. We also saw several rays and black tip sharks. The hostess and her family made us feel like family. It was a wonderful cultural experience and also very relaxing. What a great holiday. Thank you.

The place is run by the family of Anne and Luk and they are exceptionally nice. If you have special needs they will try hard to help you! They just opened their pension 4 months ago and everything was completely new. They turned their garden into a kind of beach with a nice pool and dining area for breakfast and dinner. If you choose to, Luk will delight you with something out of his outdoor kitchen and you can just enjoy. Last but not least, if you like snorkeling you should try to check out the reef just in front of the pension a bit before sunset. We had some Manta rays passing by there! :-)

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

The accommodation was modern and spacious, with a lovely communal area perfect for relaxing. The location was fantastic — peaceful and well-situated, with the bonus of a small private beach. We really appreciated the use of the kayaks and bikes, as well as the convenient laundry service. Most of all, Tepairu was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. We’d love to come back again. I wished we could have stayed for a month instead of 3 days! We loved our stay. The hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming and we learned a lot about Polynesia. The bungalow is very spacious, including the bathroom, and there is a walk-in closet. The bed was very comfortable, and the communal kitchen was such a delight, they have great appliances. A lot of thought has gone into building this place, for example having a door that goes directly into the bathroom so that you don’t fill the main room with sand. The property is kayaks and we kayaked to the most pristine motu, where we saw baby sharks!! Incredible place.

This was an excellent find. We needed to make a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating for our group of 9. Although it is a little out of the way, and you really need a car to get there, it was a beautiful spot and the staff was exceptional.

Raiatea Lodge Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, each with a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. The bar and restaurant look out onto the swimming pool and serves Tahitian and international...

Bruno was absolutely fantastic. Such a happy and welcoming host. He drove me to the shop as soon as I arrived since I had to buy some food before it closed. The excursion he organised of the lagoon is the best one I have done in French Polynesia. The bed is also the best I had slept in during my month-long trip. The kitchen is big, clean and has all necessary instruments for cooking.

It was a beautiful, open air Polynesian style bungalow. We could see Bora Bora in the distance. We were across the road from the water. Valery, the owner, was very helpful. It was a pretty place all self contained and with a kitchen and plates and knives and forks. And Coffee!!! It was only 5 kilometres from the ferry to the accommodation. You do need a scooter or car otherwise you’re stuck. There is a scooter rental place near the airport. There is a fan but no air-con so from April through to October you’re fine. And no mosquitoes. We stayed two nights and were very happy there.
