Our host Eduardo was friendly and communicative and met us at the property. It was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need with a lovely outdoor terrace. A real gem and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night, it would be a great base for exploring the area and relaxing.

We spent a wonderful 8 day break here at Vinte which was so relaxing and highlighted the beauty of the North of Portugal. The story of how Vinte had become what it is today is so heartwarming and provides a real family feel to the resort. Every service you could imagine was supplied - some of the most memorable included the large tennis courts, the relaxing massage, the beautiful pool and of course the delicious food. If you ever visit Vinte I truly recommend the breakfast - every morning there would be a beautiful spread of fresh ingredients and we would choose how we wanted our eggs cooked by the wonderful chef Francesca. Moreover, the views were immaculate and the establishment was abundant with nature - we adored the many fruit trees surrounding us and will probably miss that most. As well as this we had the opportunity to explore the kitchen where Vinte makes their delicious home style products and of course we couldn’t leave without buying their amazing goods. The hotel staff were so friendly, attentive and accommodating ensuring our stay was the best possible and we were able to experience as much as we can! We are already wanting to return and are looking forward to seeing the newly built yoga spot in the mountains and the spa!

SIMPLY EXCEPTIONAL !!! From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Maria, I knew I was in for an amazing quality experience and I certainly was not disappointed. Everything about this unique property is inspirational! From Maria's warm and friendly welcome and introductory tour of the property, the attention to comfort (the bed was so comfortable) to the luxurious decor, immaculate bathroom, the lounges and library, botanic grounds, delicious breakfast selections and the many 6 Star facilities. I felt as though I was staying in a Grand Singaporean Manor House. If you appreciate luxury and happen to be in the area of Ponte de Lima, Northern Portugal, you simply MUST try the wonderful experience of staying here. Yes, it is a small distance away from Ponte de Lima but the benefits of staying at Hotel Rural Solar das Arcadas outweigh any inconveniences that may exist and gives you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the tranquility of being away from the tourist crowds.
