The place was cosy and simple in a good way, the owner was a lovely and friendly lady, who also makes and sells beautiful crafts, the breakfast was good and with great value for money. Perfect location as a hub for an icebreaker cruise nearby. Also seems like a perfect place for summer.

The location was perfect for us traveling on Motorcycles. We had the best meal along with a very reasonably priced bottle of wine that we had during the whole stay in Norway.. Dinner & breakfast were very good indeed.

Super central location, right at the amazing Kalix River and church of Kalix. Most of all, the amazing owners Målin and Patrick, who are so friendly and make it right for their guests! Would always come back, my favorite hotel around.

We had the most wonderful time in the Frozen Sea Aurora Igloo. Our hosts were so accomodating, friendly and thoughtful. The breakfast was delivered fresh each day and there was plenty of variety and options. The beautiful hosts even treated the family to lovely Christmas gifts as it was leading up to Christmas. It was the perfect location to view the northern lights, even when the aurora alerts were not expecting any! The remoteness (but still only 5 minutes to town) made it the perfect location to view them from the comfort of our warm igloo.

With lake views, Nordic Lapland Frevisören is situated in Båtskärsnäs and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground.

We stayed in a bungalow, when we arrived it was cold inside and because we have a 21 months old baby we been scared if will stay like this but the receptionist was so nice and swapped for one wich was hot inside already as people been there that day I think. The location is amazing, nice view, breakfast was tasty as well, clean everywhere, I have nothing bad to say. You have a mini kitchenette so if you want u can cook dinner, you have sauna, parking, everything you need. Definitely we will be back. Thanks for everything and sorry for all the hassle about heating 🤦🏻‍♀️🙈

The staff could not of been more helpful, Ellen in the restaurant was so polite and lovely. the girls on reception were also so professional and polite ( I forgot to get their names) the hotel itself is very comfortable with spacious rooms and good facilities. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food is exceptional! the breakfast spread is very versatile with every option you can think of. The hotel location is perfect for exploring kalix and is right beside the river which Is beautiful to walk on. Thank you to all the staff for your help with everything during our stay.
