Richard is an attentive and extremely helpful host. He even went out and bought a toaster when we asked for one! The pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the location is in a very safe neighbourhood close to restaurants and a small supermarket a stone throws away.

I love this place! The location is perfect. In the middle of nature with the park/ jungle on one side and the river on the other side. Staff is super helpful and friendly and it’s easy to get around by taxi. It’s beautifully renovated and the food is amazing. Especially the traditional Surinamese dishes. What a great place. I’m returning very soon for sure!

Before I even got there they were very communicative and friendly, and organised an airport transfer for me. As soon as I arrived they gave me a delicious welcome juice, and my room was already nice and cold from the AC (much needed in the kind of heat they have here!) For the duration of my stay every member of staff was so friendly, chatting to me, giving me recommendations, and making me feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean and well equipped, most importantly with a powerful AC and a decent sized fridge! The communal living/restaurant area downstairs was great to sit in, lots of choices of places to sit (including a hanging egg chair which was my personal favourite), with great WiFi. Also a good location near lots of shops and restaurants, and close to lots of the sights of Paramaribo. All for a much better price than the Marriott/Torarica resort/etc.

This small hotel provides a very warm welcome and excellent treatment of its customers. Staff is always there to offer services, answer questions, and help out with whatever you need. Beds are comfortable, and the outside terras features a lot of plants, and cosy corners to sit and have a drink. The location is excellent, on walking distance from restaurants, the city center, and facilities (pharmacy, gas station etc)
