We loved our bungalow! We had an outside bathroom with a bathtub in a shape of a heart <3 the room was big and with a view on the river (around 18:30 you can hear and observe the water flow rising because of the dam opening!). Bed was huge and super comfortable. We also took breakfast and it was a choice of eggs or omlet (good one!), fruits and toasts with jam. We liked that there was Ovomaltine chocolate to drink ;) Close by there are 2 good restaurants. We used the option of renting a motorbike (they come pick you up and take you to the rental!) which is much needed in this area. We asked the owners of our accommodation for recommendations where to go (despite the lake tour, which we did in the morning before the check-in) and one of them was absolutely amazing - the Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma temples! Mystical path connecting 5-6 temples, each of them is unique and they all have a great view. We can also recommend the Wang Matcha cave (and the Diamond/Kaew cave above it) and the Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary (very ethical, we went there for the 40-minutes feeding).

Everything from the staff, accommodations, facilities and location were great. The staff really go out of their way to make sure things are arranged for you (transportation and activities). The bed was one of the few comfortable ones we slept on during our travels and the staff ensured things were cleaned daily. The owner/staff arranged transport from the airport and also transportation down to Pak Bara. Even while we were there we used the bikes and he made sure there was air in the tires. The restaurant on site was a bit more on the expensive side, but we noticed its pricing was close to the other places nearby. A happy perk was the 10% off for eating at the restaurant which definitely helped. Breakfast was exceptional, one of the best ones we had from a hotel while travelling in Thailand. A good mix of everything on the plate and cooked to order. When we checked out I accidentally left something behind and the owner shipped it to me at another hotel we were staying at later in our journey. We would happily stay here again. Lele was very welcoming and helpful. The place is great for those that want to take a break from all the noise and the touristic side of the country. Despite being relatively on the outskirt of Khao Sok, the internet connection was strong enough for me to work remotely and even take visio calls. You'll also have the occasion to discover the life in community centred around permaculture if you want to as well as eat some of the food growing on the propriety and cooked by a local chef.

We had a really great stay! The staff was super lovely and caring and we had amazing Thai Food for breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very big and clean and the bed very comfortable. Of course the best thing was the stunning view you had from the homestay. We will definitely go back there
