The hotel is very conveniently located in Scarborough, the facilities are impeccably clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly and will try their best to meet your needs. There's a free shuttle to the ferry/airport and beach! The double bed rooms are spacious and have everything you need - microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine. There is also a coffee and hot water station down in the lobby. There is a spa onsite, amazing pool and view and a lovely restaurant with terrace. I had to check out super early to catch the ferry but the hotel was able to accommodate a boxed breakfast for me. It was delicious and well balanced. If you forget any amenities - there is a small shop in the lobby area with essential items, snacks, drinks and some organic skincare products. I would recommend to anyone whether business or leisure - super safe if you're traveling alone!

Best sea viewing spot in front of my door under a mango tree, a piece of paradise, rugged yet beautiful. Spacious room with big bathroom. Has everything you need. A bit like staying in my grandma’s when I was young: you can hear ppl walking upstairs while lying in bed, and plenty of birds like motmots early morning in the courtyard. Room has sliding glass doors, with curtains for sun blocking and privacy. Private cove reachable via a proper hike, staircase to start with but majority is along riverbeds and through bushes, rocks and tree trunks…be prepared, I had to wash my shoes after that 😂 also remember your way down, no signposts or anything like that, and getting lost in the bush when there is no mobile signal can be scary… Castara beach via paved road downhill and staircase, some may find it steep. Sunsets are amazing, boats, music, guys playing football in the twilight…very atmospheric. Good food options close by in the village. The ones recommended by hotel 👍🏻 About 1.5h drive from airport. Worth the trip if you ask me.

The room was lovely and clean with a kitchen which was helpful and a cool terrasse to relax at the end of the day. Tina and Lion are great hosts making sure you are having a good trip on the island.

I stayed La Casa the Castara for 11 nights and loved the place. There is a number of apparents to choose from, each one unique and full of character. I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was ideal in every way. Each bedroom had en suite bathroom and there was open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a big balcony with outside place to eat or just sit and relax. I loved the beautiful views from the balcony on the village and sea as much as watching hummingbirds flying around and feeding themselves from hanging down feeders. The location of the property is very convenient as it is located in the centre of the village with short walk to the beach, ships and local restaurants. It made feel like I was a part of this beautiful, tranquil carabbean village. The Casa the Castara is a family run property and the owners Narine and Scott are wonderful hosts who made us very welcome. I would be definitely coming back

Clean, comfortable rooms. The pool was clean private. Hot and cold water was great. The hummingbirds were really cute!

Owen made contact, to know what time to expect us. Contacted us again when we got off the boat to make sure we were on the right road and everything was going smoothly the drive to Serenity Apartments. We were met and greeted by Owen, Who helped with our bags and settle us in. The location is 5-7 minutes from Pigeon Point Beach. Owen was kind enough to give us a map of the Island and recommended places to visit. Breakfast was exceptional Smoked Salmon Omelette with local chocolate tea, home made carrot bread made by Owen. Very accommodating for my husband dietary requirements. It was quite, clean peaceful, beautiful landscape, Owen offered a laundry service. That help us quite a bit. Owen is a lovely friendly person always asked us about our day. I highly recommend Serenity Apartments.
