We recently stayed at The Dandy Hotel in Taipei and we were really impressed! Despite being a 3-star hotel, the service was definitely at a 4-star level. The staff went above and beyond – they even gave us a courtesy call for checkout time without us asking, and were super flexible with storing our bags before and after our stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was much bigger than what you typically get in Taipei, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great – it was nice and quiet too. The bathroom was a highlight with amazing shower pressure and lovely lemongrass-scented toiletries. Just a heads up though – the shower is over the bath, which was quite narrow. There's a handrail to help you get in and out, but it might be tricky for older travelers. One thing I loved was being able to open the window for fresh air, though don't expect any views. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the station. Breakfast was pretty average overall, but they did have some nice cakes. Oh, and if you're looking for last-minute gifts, they have some cute items like soaps and keyrings at reception – really came in handy for me! The only real downside was the breakfast not being anything special, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fantastic service, clean and comfortable room, and convenient location make this place a gem. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Taipei!

Their professionality, hospitality, ambience, location and cleanliness is just perfect. Many good restaurants around the area and very closed to taipei101. Got upgraded room to Suite with beautiful city view at night. Staff are very helpful and polite. Definitely a place to stay next time we visit Taipei.

I loved the accessibility of the hotel, it’s right by the train station. It was also easily accessible to night markets & nearby eateries. The family room that we had was perfect with the kids too as we could shut the door from the seating area and beds, which allowed the kids to sleep while parents continued to eat.
