I just loved the rooms having wooden floors instead of carpet. The air conditioning was totally silent while keeping us warm when it was freezing outside. My wife thought the bed was one of the most comfortable she has ever slept on.

I love the authentic feel of the old hotel yet modern, and clean. The breakfast was off the menu and very good. Both continental and Mexican menu to choose from. Lovely bedroom. Staff exceptional.

Great choice to stay in McAllen. Its very near from restaurants like cracker barrel or five guys burguer (walking distance very short) next to the hotel is located a academy store and the plaza mall is very close too. The room very confortable and clean and the personal since the beginning were very nice people. Definitely i’ll stay again in the homewood suites.

This hotel is one mile from McAllen Miller International Airport. Each room is decorated in traditional Mexican style and offers cable TV, air conditioning and free local calls.

The staff at Clarion Inn in McAllen is absolutely excellent. Liz at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. David who drove the shuttle was very helpful and also went the extra mile. And Ludy (sp?) who picked me up from the airport was so helpful and courteous - all staff worked hard and did so with a positive attitude and a smile. I would be glad to come back to the Clarion.
