From the moment I set my foot in Hoedspruit airport, I was well taken care of with the pickup until my drop off back to the airport. Everything was amazing.

Spent part of our honeymoon here and it was heaven on earth. The prices are high, but worth it. We hope to return one day to this paradise.

Nothing was too much trouble - they thought of everything and were very accommodating with dietary preferences. Service, facilities and overall experience was exemplary. Twice-daily safaris with knowledgable guides were a highlight.

We spent 2 nights here and loved every second. The lodge is pristine and finished to perfection. So many beautiful details in the decor and the outdoor area. The staff were welcoming and super attentive, we never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was AMAZING, three course meals with some choices. But of course, the highlight was the twice daily drives, guides were super friendly and we saw 4 of the big 5. Tea and coffee and snacks and drinks served during the drive. The fine detail of our stay was incredible. This newly opened lodge is a gem and we feel lucky to have experienced it.

Excellent food, impressive personnel, I felt like I'm a VIP person. We had a morning bushwalk and an evening safari, which was included, and it was great. We saw zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and wild dogs

Far from the city, allowing one to have a good break from reality. The rangers made sure we see all the animals including the big 5. The staff is absolutely friendly, you never feel like you asking for too much. Lastly, there's no TVs in the rooms, a proper way to take everything in with no distractions

Great service starts right from the moment you walk in. The butler greeted us at the door with drinks, which was just wonderful. Be ready for surprises at any moment here! The three days we spent here are truly memorable! Let's talk about the villa itself first. The facilities are very complete. The name Ukannyi comes from a Marula tree next to our house, which drops fruits onto the floor every day, making a fascinating sound! Get used to living with local wildlife. One day, we encountered a family of warthogs coming to graze. They stayed in our front and back yards for a long time while we were reading and swimming, and they were leisurely grazing. Giraffes also came near our house; I was really looking forward to a giraffe poking its head into our outdoor shower, haha! The villa has a large beautiful living room, dining room, and kitchen. A chef comes to our room to cook three meals a day for us. Sometimes we eat inside, sometimes outside, and every meal is different and very delicious. On the last evening, to bid us farewell, the butler dressed in beautiful local attire, giving us a huge surprise. Be ready for surprises at any moment here, but I won't spoil too much! The room has 3 bedrooms, each large and comfortable, and we slept very well. There is also a swimming pool, which the 2 children especially liked to play and swim in. The twice-daily safari activities are the most exciting part. Although it takes 3 hours each morning and evening to look for animals, we were not tired at all. Apart from the leopard, we saw all of the Big Five multiple times, and as a consolation, we were very fortunate to see cheetahs. The feeling of returning to nature is just too wonderful! I'm really looking forward to coming back! Many thanks to our butler, trackers,guides, chefs, and all the staff for bringing us such wonderful memories!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Rhino's Rest. The property itself is STUNNING! Everything is immaculately clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. We saw rhino everyday, lions mating, giraffe, elephant and all the game. Adél is an incredible, friendly and genuine host who made our stay everything we could have hoped for and more. Zodwana and Nelius do a fantastic job keeping the property clean and well maintained. We honestly cannot recommend Rhino's Rest anymore highly! We will be back!

The spacious and ultra luxurious rooms (which were well equipped and quiet) and the serene yet central location made us wish we booked a longer stay. Stunning location to explore the many activities and experiences that the town of Hoedspruit and surrounding area has to offer. Little shops, restaurants and of course the Greater Kruger are right on your doorstep. We were warmly greeted and the helpful and friendly staff assisted us in planning and arranging everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
