I liked everything about the property, we were given our space to do whatever we wanted. It was not noisy and it is in a very secure location.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms were modern and immaculately clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Very kind and hospitable hosts, Elsie and Mike. They kept in touch with us from the day of our booking, check in, during our stay, until we arrived home after check out. Very good accommodation, comfortable beds, plenty of beds in the family room, a huge fridge. We loved the balcony that had the Seaview from our room, you relax in your bed and enjoy the splashing sound of the waves. Elegant interior decor makes this property unique and stunning. Our kids loved walking across the street to the private beach, sightseeing of monkeys in the bushes and playing in the quiet neighborhood park. A bonus was the indoor swimming pool and a separate indoor braai facility. It rained in Winterstrand but we could happily enjoy a family braai and kids could swim throughout without worry of scorching heat or rain.

We had an amazing stay at Cowrie Lodge. It’s a very safe and clean place, close to the beach for nice walks and (if you‘re lucky) whale watching. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. One of the best places we stayed on South Africa. We will come back. Thanks Beth for everything.
