There was ample outdoor space to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and the inside of the apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. I had everything I needed to prepare a meal if I decided to, but there was a great restaurant just two doors down. Els and Frederik were friendly and helpful, I was even treated to their delicious ice cream which went down a treat. The bed was soft and more than large enough for two people. The shower was refreshing and the bathroom was tastefully decorated. It was a wonderful stay.

He loves the area and took me for two different drives just to show me the local villages and bought me a beer at a beautiful traditional Belgian pub. I was traveling alone so really appreciated that they looked after me so well. I had the single room (en-suite toilet) in the lodge which is a wonderful old converted farmhouse. You can hear the tenants in the other room as they are on the upper room but it was no bother. Also, you bath in a tub in the bedroom. It’s very quaint and there is a handheld so washing your hair isn’t an issue. Overall, I would compare my stay pro staying at a good friend’s house. I really enjoyed it…thanks Anna and Yves!
