On our way back to our home in Southern Spain, a late ferry in Santander meant we needed an overnight stop with 2 dogs. Booking.com to the rescue, finding this gem at such a reasonable price. We were blown away by the luxurious spacious rooms and public areas. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on getting it to this standard and maintaining it. The staff were very friendly and made welcome our dogs, and even brought them some water in the restaurant/bar area. The location itself was very picturesque though as it was raining we didn't explore. Though it was late they prepared an evening meal for us (about 0930pm), and breakfast the following morning was really nice with plenty of choice. The dining area itself is spacious which allowed us to keep our over excited Tzih Zhus out of mischief though there were no other pets at the time!

The property is in a great location and is very clean and comfortable. Danny was a fantastic host who made our stay memorable. Dinner was excellent as well.

We were traveling with our two cats. We were given cat treats/toys at check in and there were water/food bowls in the room. We had an excellent continental breakfast with good coffee. The hotel is just off the A66 so very convenient as an overnight stopover. We can highly recommend it!

The property is located in the main wing of a restored monastery that is still active. Location, in the old city center, is perfect and the room size and amenities are on par with more expensive properties. It has been recently renovated and this well maintained property has really nice staff.

This hotel is located in Astorga, just 150 metres from the cathedral. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a seating area with a sofa and flat-screen TV.

The elegant rooms at El Descanso de Wendy feature wooden floors and private bathroom with hairdryer. I loved staying here! The hosts were so warm and friendly💗. It felt like home. The art work and attention to detail was so transparent. You knew they loved what they were doing. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious!
