This was an excellent stay in such a cozy village and the beautiful mountainous view. Malathro guest house was super! Clean and tidy, with very comfortable bedding and a really nice staff !! Yanis and Katterin were really helpful and kind to us:) Yanis drove us to the mountains, so we could hike about 2 hours and it was wonderful! And then came to pick us up, despite the fact that he was very busy with his work, And Katterin answered all of our questions kindly :) Thanks a lot❤️ I recommend Malathro to everyone! A short walk to the village and beautiful terraces to sit out on during the day to read and relax. Great breakfast and everything finished to beautiful standard throughout. Just sad we were too early in the season for a fire in the room (lit on 20th Oct), but the weather was beautiful anyhow. Bed comfortable and the views from the room were very scenic, we were lucky with a clear day to see Mount Olympus. Staff were always happy to help.

The village is stunning and the hotel has been sympathetically and beautifully restored. One highlight is staying in the village centre once all the day trippers have left… Another highlight is the sumptuous breakfast on the terrace with a fantastic view of Olympus and the coast. The welcome was very friendly and the rooms are spacious and characterful. We were also given an excellent dinner recommendation. Overall, the excellent attention to detail (including gorgeous flowers and pretty breakfast settings) and relaxed atmosphere made this a very special treat.
