Excellent location, spectacular view, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Beer for sale. Tours can be booked here and the owners are so helpful and friendly. Nice cozy place with a beautiful garden and fish pond.

My stay at The Queen's Guest House was pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable, with great amenities and a great view of nature. Yuli and Mehdi are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. I had some amazing dives, and the professional instructors made the experience even better. I also enjoyed making friends and having fun conversations with other guests at the bar. To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

All guest rooms at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. We had a fantastic stay at Birding Lodge Tangkoko, right on the edge of Tangkoko National Park. The lodge is owned and run by a local family, and they made us feel completely at home. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The Indonesian food was delicious, fresh, and a real highlight after long days out in the forest. The wildlife guides were outstanding. They know the forest inside and out. We did full-day bird tours and were able to see so many of Tangkoko’s incredible endemic birds and mammals. The guides helped us capture great views of hornbills, dwarf kingfishers, tarsiers, bear cuscus and macaques, and many other species. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a welcome relief after a hot day of birding and exploring. If your goal is to experience the wildlife of Tangkoko—whether general wildlife tours or full-day birding trips—we highly recommend Birding Lodge Tangkoko and Ardy’s team of guides.

Situated in Bunaken, 13 km from Manado Harbor, Lekker Gezellig Dive Resort Manado features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. With a restaurant, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. "Lekker gezellig" fits perfectly for this dive resort. The staff always takes the time for a friendly conversation and is super helpful. Greis and Inka really made a difference to our stay. Everything we need is arranged very quickly. The pickup from the airport was very well organized. We have enjoyed the food, both indonesian and Manadonese dishes, it is very fulfilling and accommodating to our preferences and needs. Breakfast is a pleasant surprise every morning and always comes with bread, fresh fruits and local coffee. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We really like the terrace with the view, too. The pool is awesome for relaxing and bird watching. Additionally, the owner appears to be very involved and genuinely cares about the guests' happiness. We love the jungle vibe of the resort, very peaceful, with many birds and other beautiful creatures around. The jetty through the mangrove really adds to the experience, a perfect location to do mindblowing dives.  I would recommend lekker gezellig to anyone who enjoys the jungle experience and is looking for warm North-Sulawesi hospitality.

Located in Tomohon, 33 km from Manado Harbor, Wawowow provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The property is non-smoking and is situated 12 km from Mount Lokon. Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

She went more than the extra mile to make ourselves with our two children (1.5 and 3.5) comfortable. She organised toys, children beds, children towels, books - just everything we didn't even knew we could wish! The staff is also very nice and Amanda's chef is one of the best on the whole island for sure. If you go to Bunaken - this is where you want to stay!

Comfortable diving boat, experienced driver. We spent 6 days there and saw wonders under the water. Perfect place for rest, relaxation and diving!

The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi. Being a solo traveler, I really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled from the moment i stepped out of the airport. Airport pickup and dropoff were arranged in advance, which made the trip completely stress free, and from the moment I arrived Sharon, Asher, and the whole team made me feel welcome and at home. They honestly couldn’t have done more to make my stay enjoyable. The food was absolutely out of this world. On the drive from the airport I mentioned a few of my favourite Indonesian dishes, and during my stay they went out of their way to source and prepare them for me. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the meals even more special. One of the things I loved most about K2 is the environment they’ve created. You can be as social or as private as you like, but I’d really encourage you to be social! Some guests prefer dining quietly on their own, while others pull tables together to share meals, stories, and chat about the day’s diving. It creates a relaxed and welcoming community that feels very natural. The diving itself was exceptional! I did 42 dives, in all including 6 night dives. Fiki, Jimmy, and Evan were superb guides, professional when it came to safety and briefings, while also being warm and easygoing. Their ability to spot even the tiniest or most camouflaged critters was incredible. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere relaxed, and the service consistently great. More than just a dive resort, K2 felt like joining a family who genuinely care about making your stay special.

For guests with children, the homestay features outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. A bicycle rental service is available at FRANGKY HOMESTAY, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Everything was very good: the price, the food, the organization... Franky told me, very sad, that the couple who spent only one night had given him a bad comment and that it was a misunderstanding and certain tour arrangements due to bad weather. I honestly think that Franky organizes everything very well.
