Breakfast at this hotel was some of the best we had in Costa Rica. The staff was always so attentive and available at any time to assist and even took the time to learn our names. The room was so nice with a lot of modern furniture and amenities. Highly highly recommended to stay here during your time in Monte Verde. Pura Vida!

So peaceful. Birds amazing. Loved the open air, hearing distant howler monkeys each morning, and overall vibe. Staff so helpful and friendly. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Zipline canopy tour on property excellent and without a theme park feeling.

The staff at the place is very kind and warm, they helped us book activities and restaurants in Monteverde, I would like to especially mention Roxana, Marisol and Valeria, the best. The location of the hotel is great, few minutes from all the restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast is beyond great. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at Monteverde!

The location is perfect and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and quite big. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient.

We had a great time at Monteverde Lodge & Garden – I booked the stay partly because of their environmental profile and partly because of all the buzz about their El Jardín restaurant, and the place totally lived up to our expectations: - A lovely room that opened up right out into a beautiful forest area with a little creek running outside - Nice walking paths around the place where kids can easily go exploring on their own - Amazing architecture; a lot of the place appears to have been built recently, and they have taken great care to combine aesthetically pleasing design with respect for the nature area around the place - Lovely outside relaxation areas (the pool is a bit small, so do don’t expect a huge resort-style water area here) with lots of animals (hummingbirds, coatis, porcupines etc.) - An absolutely fantastic restaurant; every single dish we had, from breakfast to dinner, was impressive so definitely choose this place if you’re a foodie!

It's one of the best hotels I've ever been in. Located in the middle of the jungle, spectacular rooms and the stuff were so helpful and nice. I hope to come back soon to this place!
