We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom apartment which had a fantastic modern kitchen with everything we needed to cook a nice meal. The high ceilings and gas fire made the living room a really lovely place to sit and have a wine and read when it was raining outside. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the apartment. There was also a lovely outdoor eating area which I think would be great in warmer weather.

This was the best motel we ever had on our trip in NZ. The very nice owner couple are doing their best to fulfill wishes of their guests.

This is hands down the best B&B I've ever stayed in. We affectionately call it the "paradise house" because everything about it is beyond beautiful, exceeding all expectations. All the amenities provided are complete and carefully selected. Leanne took care of us with the utmost thoughtfulness and kindness. The animals on the farm added so much warmth to our stay, making it truly special. We're already looking forward to our next trip to Kaikoura so we can return to the Cubby House.

The views were stunning, complete privacy and relaxation. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely follow advice of taking a small bag, we were glad we didn’t take all of our luggage. Just beautiful.

Everything was absolutely perfect - we didn't want to leave. Sean and Skip have thought of every little thing to make a stay at The Factory absolutely outstanding, and their service and attention to detail is second to none. It was the cosiest, most comfortable stay in an incredible location with spectacular views....just perfect! We highly, highly, highly recommend. There aren't enough adjectives...just do yourself a favour and book today. We only wish we could have stayed longer.....but we'll definitely be back - looking forward to it already!

Sitting directly across from a stunning mountain range is the delightful, well-managed Fyffe Country Lodge. Hosts Chris & Colin are the friendliest people we’ve met on our travels around New Zealand. It felt as though we’ve known each other for many years. The grounds are lovingly maintained. Our room, was perfect with its elegant decor and cleanliness beyond expectations. Meals were delicious and well-presented.
