Close to the airport but absolutely quiet. Imran, who was in charge, is the king of kindness. he picked me up at the airport at 1:15h waiting for more the one hour till I passed the border control and picked up my luggage. The perfect accomodation to stay overnight when you get to or leave Auckand. Everything is clean and furniture, towels etc. new. Be aware that, if you don’t need a shuttle service from the airport and you arrive after 10pm, you’ll have to do a self check-in. Communications very easy via WA.

Parnell Garden Suite is the perfect place to stay in Auckland. The main room is very spacious and comfortable, with many thoughtful touches for the traveler. The whole place is very modern, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The suite is entirely private, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The bathroom is also roomy and modern. The garden area is beautiful and easy to view from the inside. The suite also has a kitchenette that includes a generous selection of breakfast food and snacks. This was especially convenient for us as we had a flight to catch and it was nice to have some breakfast before taking our taxi to the airport. Located in a lovely residential area of Auckland, it was an easy walk (or bus/taxi ride) to the city center. Just nearby is lovely Judges Bay Park and rose gardens and a public Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool. Parnell has a great selection of good restaurants all within easy walking distance. Susan is a friendly and accommodating host, and made us feel very welcome and taken care of. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel gets everything right: great shower, great bed, comfortable room (we had a free upgrade), a lovely atmosphere, fantastic breakfast, and highly attentive and nice staff. The bar/restaurant area is beautiful, with everything a little retro styled. The hotel is furthermore located in a very pretty central area of Auckland, within walking distance of the waterfront and central shopping areas.
