About 10 mins walk from the center in a very nice and lively neighborhood. The room was spacious, everything looks brand new.

The hotel itself is inside the ancient city, which makes you easier to roam around the ancient city area. Oh ya, car cannot enter to the hotel location, but the hotel staff will pick you up and help you with the luggage at the nearest pick-up point. If you are looking for Chinese old movie vibes, you can stay in this hotel.

Only a short 1-minute stroll from Shuhe Ancient Town, The Bivou features accommodation in local and modern styles combined together. Blending in by making use of the barbecue facilities, lazing in soothing massage, going horse riding or enjoying a fun time with your children at kids’ club seems like a nice getaway. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Not really sure where to start. One of the nicest B&B style hotels I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Staff go above and beyond everyday and the ambience of the place is so relaxing it’s hard to stay standing. It’s just off the Main Street in the quieter of the “old towns” Shuhe, but it’s so quiet you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Beautiful surrounds and convenient to literally everywhere. Literally, just stay here: way more personal than any of the bigger hotels in the area I’m sure.

InterContinental Kunming is a 10-minute drive from Xishan Forest Park and Haigeng Park. Kunming Railway Station is a 30-minute drive away while Kunming Changshui Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10.
