Staying in the main lodge the first night we saw hummingbirds, squirrels, agouti and coati along with many other stunning bird life. The staff in the restaurant/bar are friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks are good standard. We stayed the second night in a seperate lodge as a forrest room and this had the most amazing glass shower overlooking the forest as did the balcony. Both rooms were very spacious, very comfortable beds and luscious amenities. The brewery on-site was a big bonus to unwind after a days activities and has great views of the garden and lake with loads of bird and animal life.

We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
