We arrived in the evening and woke up to a spectacular sight hearing the river/waterfalls down below. Absolutely stunning. The family that runs Wood Palace is amazing and has been great in accommodating us with anything we needed during our stay, first making arrangements for me as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and later whilst our son got sick. The amazing starry nights from the balcony and fireflies lighting up the view topped it off. It’s located a little outside of Ella (5min drive) which made it very peaceful and quiet. The owner has a TukTuk and can bring you anywhere you need very quickly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a very memorable stay

The staff were super friendly and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. The accommodation is very difficult to get to if in a car - so if you take the property's jeep (pickup truck) it's a better option. The views from the property are stunning, I hope the new development they are planning will not interupt the current views. Highly recommended for a peaceful get away

What a beautiful place ! The garden, the house, the location, the outlook, everything was wonderful to look upon. The stillness, the sound of the birds and the temple prayers. The team were incredible - so helpful and lovely to chat with. We became close with them during our stay. The food was exceptional- I don’t think we’ve eaten so well before on holiday.
