We arrived in the evening and woke up to a spectacular sight hearing the river/waterfalls down below. Absolutely stunning. The family that runs Wood Palace is amazing and has been great in accommodating us with anything we needed during our stay, first making arrangements for me as I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and later whilst our son got sick. The amazing starry nights from the balcony and fireflies lighting up the view topped it off. It’s located a little outside of Ella (5min drive) which made it very peaceful and quiet. The owner has a TukTuk and can bring you anywhere you need very quickly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a very memorable stay

The accommodation is very difficult to get to if in a car - so if you take the property's jeep (pickup truck) it's a better option. The views from the property are stunning, I hope the new development they are planning will not interupt the current views. Highly recommended for a peaceful get away

It was a beautiful stay and the staff were so friendly. We told Rafael it was our honeymoon and he organised surprise decorations for us at our room and dinner. Vipula was also very helpful and friendly. We loved loved loved our stay and would highly recommend it. It felt like we were alone in the clouds and the pool is one of the nicest we have swam in. The food was wonderful and well priced and so were the drinks

The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.
