We loved our stay at Glenogle. It was in a remote location, in the mountains, very quiet and peaceful, yet a close drive to restaurants, stores and activities. The room was spacious with the most comfortable beds, a little mini fridge and en-suite bathroom. Best sleep we got on our whole trip! We had a little patio door and very much enjoyed the view from out there. Doris, the owner, welcomed us, showed us around -- she and her whole family were just lovely. We cannot recommend this place enough and would choose to come back anytime when in the area!

Just off the Trans-Canada Highway, this hotel is 4 km from Golden Golf Club. It features on-site dining and an indoor pool with hot tub. Soundproofed guest rooms offer free WiFi.

The receptionist was very helpful, we were originally allocated a room on its own right by the hotels liquor store. The manager of the store explained that the store was open until 11 at night and her staff would be back and forth between store and room next to ours all the time so it would be noisy although she would ask the staff to try to keep noise to a minimum. When we went back to ask for another room the receptionist was very apologetic - think new and hadn’t realised - she then gave us a room facing the mountains on the 3rd floor. She also rang in the evening to check that everything was ok and asked again each time we passed her in reception.

Very comfortable apartment. Private parking, comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen, loved the hot tub and the stunning views. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and even delivered a lost and found item personally to the hotel where we were staying next. Golden service! Golden itself is a nice place to stay. Very good to explore the National Parks nature and wildlife. We even spotted a few bears on out way down from the apartment to Golden town.

Lovely location and exceptional facilities for a small family. We didnt see Boo the bear but felt at peace with nature. Very close to Emerald lake and Wapta falls. The sky bridge was closed due to the wildfires but there is plenty to keep you busy
