This is a charming hotel in an excellent location in the old town of Zurich. It's very well appointed and comfortable, the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating with our early arrival. The breakfast was excellent. We were an extended family group covering 3 generations, and we were all very impressed with the Helmhaus.

Staff were excellent. Had a little issue with the room. But everything was resolved efficiently. Room is of good size and nicely decorated. Items in the room are of very good quality. Welcome drinks and chocolate praline are a nice touch.

The entire place was fantastic. The closeness to the train terminal literally 1 minute walk, the check-in to the hotel, the staff were sweet & friendly and inviting (compliments to Christine and the team), also the food was delicious - great breakfast and lastly, the rooms were just world class. Sad that we weren't able to book the lake view room but despite that, the room was just fantastic. Compliments to Nicole, Christine and the team. We just love your hotel and we were honored to spend new years 2025 with you all at the Yarn! Hope we can join some form of loyalty club for the hotel to always stay here. One of the best hotel experiences, my wife and I have ever had. Thank you all.

We only got to stay one night as a pit stop for Zermatt. We were very impressed on how big the rooms are and how good the breakfast and staff are, not to mention it’s quite close to everything you will need to see in Zurich. 🇦🇺

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and there was a good variety to choose from. The location and views from the hotel balcony are absolutely amazing! The facilities- spa treatments, sauna, steam too and jacuzzi made the trip too!

    Quiet location, convenient garage parking with lift access straight up to reception. There is a charge for this so you can also use the outside parking which is free. The staff were very welcoming. Food/drink prices are very expensive here, but you can check the menu on the hotel website before you book. We ate in the bar and can recommend the club sandwich which was huge and really tasty! Modern room with a balcony and fantastic view over the lake. Bed was very comfortable.
