This is the quintessential place to stay in Beijing if you want to experience a beautiful blend of art, culture, nature and history. Jocelyn and her team of dedicated staff were constantly on hand to answer all of our questions, they were so helpful, gave us loads of useful advice and assistance with any technical issues with accessing the local facilities via Alipay and WeChat. We went to Badaling Great Wall so easily for a day trip by taking the subway to Beijing Bei (North) station (Xizhimen subway station on Line 2, Line 4 and Line 13) and bought high speed railway tickets to visit at short notice and at a very cheap price. We would highly recommend getting a private bus trip via Trip.com to Jinshanling (Great Wall) which is about 2 hours outside Beijing by getting the subway to Dongximen subway station. This was the highlight of our stay, much quieter than Badaling, cheaper cable car and vast parts of the wall to explore if you have the energy and time. Beijing Shadow Art Performance Courtyard is a must stay, nestled within one of the many historic Hudongs of downtown Beijing. You will not be disappointed and only left wanting to explore this amazing country/city more.

The room was amazing and the service impeccable. They helped me with everything I needed and everyone that worked in the hotel was extremely kind and friendly. There's a gentleman that speaks perfect English in case you don't know Chinese or don't speak it very well. The bed was to die for, I've never slept so well in my life. It's close to renmin university, the subway, a mall, some fast food shops and right in front of a convenience store. It's worth every penny.
