Welcome to the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary! Nestled in the picturesque coastal region of Port Stephens, NSW, our 8ha sanctuary offers a unique opportunity to connect with Australia's beloved koalas... We had a fabulous stay. Amazing glamping tent, super friendly staff. The welcome basket and breakfast were fantastic. We loved the educational walk and private tour of the Koala Sanctuary. We would love to return one day.

Just 5 minutes' walk from One Mile Beach, Wanderers Retreat features an outdoor swimming pool and free on-site parking. All accommodation offers a balcony. All cottages feature free WiFi. This place is jewel. The photos do not do it any justice. We were amazed. The set out, our cabin, the garden. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying 3. If we didn't have a flight booked we would have stayed longer.
