Everything about this hotel is exceptional. 6 months old, everything is pristine. Staff are very helpful, we were escorted to our room. We cycled across the canaries, they were very welcoming and have a very large secure room with tools, stand, pump and washing facilities. Food is buffet, very clean, lots of options for every taste. Extremely good value food and drinks. I would definitely return

Nice kitchen / living room. You can darken the bedroom properly which is great for a good night sleep. The view was great, the sunset was lovely and you can see the stars from the garden away from the city lights. Would recommend :)

The stylish Playa Calera is no-smoking in all areas. It is set just metres from magnificent beaches. These are perfect for swimming, fishing and snorkelling. Breakfast was amazing, too many options, high quality food, great service The pool, though smaller than I'd wish, was lovely, cooling after an hour of sunbathing, heating up through the day Waste bins were clearly labelled but I had no idea what to do with metal containers, there wasn't a bin for them - but the daily cleaning/housemaid service removed any from my room, so there was no problem

Wake up to ocean views and enjoy a meal on the balcony, prepared in your fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms have twin beds and interiors are modern and spacious. Well equipped apartment which is located right next to the sea with fabulous views of the sea. We found the apartment very quiet and we were not disturbed by the neighbours. The complex sent us information on how to enter the small complex and apartment on the day and there was a remote for the parking gate inside the apartment. There was plenty of parking in their private car park. The bedding and towels were changed after 2 days and the apartment was in a very clean condition throughout our stay. The staff We saw were vert helpful and friendly. It is located on a short walk from a Spar supermarket and several nice restaurants nearby. Valle Gran Rey is basically split into 2 parts with the area we stayed on one side and the other half near a small port with various boat trips available and some more restaurants. It was about a 30 minute walk from the apartment to the port or a 5 minute drive. We would definitely stay in these apartments again if we visit la gomera in the future. In our opinion, having driven all over the island, Valle Gran Rey is the best location to stay particularly compared to San Sebastian which has a city feel where Valle Gran Rey has a village vibe.
