This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Great location. Very central, at the river. Beautiful view, also from the rooftop bar. Very friendly staff.

Clarion Collection Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access. The room and bed were extremely clean and comfortable and all the food we had as part of the half board was delicious. The reception was very helpful and gave us advice on local transport. Highly recommended.
