Forth Mountain Glamping is located in Ballintlea, 40 km from Hook Lighthouse, 43 km from Carrigleade Golf Course, and 7.3 km from Irish National Heritage Park. This apartment provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the apartment's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We stayed in two pods with four friends and we had the best experience. The pods are so cleverly built, super clean, and even came with toiletries in the bathroom. The walking trails right out the back are fantastic and really well sign posted. The hosts were the best, very friendly and welcoming. We had ordered breakfast which was absolutely delicious and delivered right to our table. This was our first time glamping and we had such a great time, definitely exceeded all expectations.

Guests will have a special experience as this tent provides a sauna. The tent offers a private entrance, a seating area, a terrace with garden views as well as a shared bathroom boasting a walk-in shower. The unit has 2 beds. It was a last minute booking and was the best decision we could have possibly have made at the time. We were driving from Dublin in the rain and arrived at Ferry House absolutely wrecked. Liz met us with such warmth and kindness that we didn't expect: the room was extremely clean ( a lot of hotels could not compete with it), teas, coffees were provided and she even turn on the sauna for us so we could relax and warm up. The place itself is like magic: small cottages, massive old trees, swings, tents and even ponies! Perfect atmosphere to do some art, sit down with the family and soak up the countryside sweetness to rejuvenate. Also, in the room we found a book with a family story, the history of the place and good spots for dinner. Another important thing- it's really quiet so we were sleeping as logs. With great gratitude to the family, their story and hospitality.
