I really enjoyed the smell and quality of linen and towels. And they do have hot water showers now (which we didn’t expect due to the reviews)

The tents were lovely, a little bit of wear and tear but it’s to be expected in a jungle with rain. What made it special though was the staff and the experiences they provide. We booked our safari through them and got a private safari with a very knowledgeable ranger. It was also done in a 4WD (an old school Land Rover which was very cool), whilst many others are in 2WD. We found out the benefit of this as the roads were very badly damaged from the heavy rain the last few days and many cars got stuck, whilst ours didn’t. Another highlight was a candlelit dinner in the wilderness, as well as breakfast up in the tree canopies. We won’t ever forget this stay. Our only wish is that we stayed two nights rather than one as we didn’t get time to use the private pool

The feeling of being so close to nature while having all our needs taken care of was truly special. The entire trip was seamless, and that's thanks to Sara, who organized everything flawlessly. From the delicious food to the well-maintained campsite and the knowledgeable guides, every detail was perfect. The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!

Amazing deluxe room in Green Villa. Spacious, clean and good AC. Family very friendly, relaxed, flexible. We were generously treated with mangoes and other fruits from the garden. They have over 5 species of mango (consider it a local mango tasting). Swimming pool clean and close to the lake. Kind dogs that help protect from a friendly elephant visit (who also wanted a nightly mango tasting).

Fantastic experiences with amazing staff team. I admire their professionalism, especially when paying attention onto the details. Definitely a recommendation to any experienced travelers.

Situated in Tanamalwila, 34 km from Udawalawe National Park and 26 km from Tissa Wewa, Thanamal-villa features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. Very friendly and helpful host. He organized two full day safaris for us - one in Block 5&6 and one in Block 1 of the Yala national park. They were both amazing and we could (besides elephants, monkeys, crocodiles,...) observe 4 leopards and even a mother with her cub! 😍 The huge tent with the veranda was just perfect. We could even observe several animals like peacocks and mungos directly from there. One evening the host's mum spontaneously cooked for us and we even got the dinner served to our veranda. Another evening he took us by car to a restaurant. So overall it was a great experience and I can only recommend this place.

Amazing property, the Tent is a very cozy room and the staff was amazing. Uditha received super well and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and 2 days, and had a very early safari in both days. Uditha provided a breakfast for us to bring along and eat in our safari, and gave many tips about the region. We had pré-booked our safaris and lunch already, but if you need they can arrange for safaris and/or lunch as well. On the morning of our checkout we also did a nice bush walk around the property to say our goodbyes to Yala. The rooms have air conditioning, fan, hairdryer and good wifi. Definitely will recommend to friends that come to visit the Yala National Park!
