Even our beagle girl Moly was warmly welcomed and felt right at home. We were expecting a high standard, but we were blown away by how clean and beautifully furnished our tent was – including the bathroom! The entire property felt very well-kept and serene. We spent the evening in the jacuzzi, enjoying a stunning view of the mountains – an unforgettable moment. Don’t forget to take a walk around the area and visit the lovely little mini-zoo – it adds a special charm to the whole place. We didn’t try the restaurant this time, but we’ll definitely come back and make up for it. Thank you. Everything was perfect!

Kabaceira Glamping is a recently renovated luxury tent in Atalaia, where guests can makes the most of its saltwater pool, garden and barbecue facilities. I don‘t want to share too much details. We want to come back next year and don‘t need too much people to know how recreating, beautiful and carefully looked after this place is. It‘s a real treasure… And - take the breakfast! 🩷

Situated in Lavacolhos and only 46 km from Belmonte Calvário Chapel, Quinta do Ragal features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is set 14 km from Convento de las Carmelitas Descalzas and provides a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Quinta do Ragal was a wonderful surprise. We stayed at one of the yurts and it was lovely. The hosts Paulo and Joana were the nicest, most welcoming people and the breakfast they prepared was great. The animals in the farm are the best addition and the Jacinto, the donkey, the friendliest of all!

Of course the windmill is very picturesque himself, but the view it’s amazing, and the host is the absolute best! Always available and ready to help! When you think of such a location, you’d think of driving in a stone path without lights : they have indeed a very comfortable path and you can reach it by car and park almost in front of your mill. The windmill is very clean and every detail is promptly selected to match the whole setting of the country style. In your windmill, you’ll find everything you need in order to prepare a breakfast to enjoy on the back of the windmill, enjoying the valley, wind and sunrise. We were sad because we just stayed 2 nights!! Highly suggested ✨
