A beautiful old house decorated exquisitely. Although I was travelling solo, I was given a family room which was huge with plenty of space. Room was spotless and the view was lovely from the back window. Bed was comfy. Although the guest house is on a busy road, the rooms are out the back and you don't hear the traffic. Congratulations to the owners on such a beautiful house and furnishings. Highly recommended

The breakfast was a self-serve buffet. But being a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, the staff were more than happy to make specialty vegan items for me. We were surprised at how accommodating the staff were.

We upgraded to the Carnegie suite, the double jacuzzi bathtub with tv was unbelievable! It all worked no issues,big tv, nice shower, Dorr to exterior for fresh air

No staff but the lady of the restaurant downstairs , same ownership, was hiper kind and efficient to help us with the online check in. The building, room , all perfect.

Close to Ayr seafront and a few metres from the town centre, Mercure Ayr is a comfy hotel with gym. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Brasserie Bar and Restaurant serves drinks, snacks and meals....

The staff was amazing and super friendly! The breakfast was superb and exceeded our expectations. We had such a lovely stay and it was great that there was a pub next door which was also a great experience. Really appreciated the service we received all around

One of the best hotels I had ever stayed in. Has lots of character. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable on their job duties, very clean, they also let us check-in earlier than expected, In all WONDERFUL!

Lovely family run hotel, food was excellent, our room was upstairs and looked out over the garden, bed was super comfortable. Dinner was delicious traditional Scottish food. The staff are amazing
