Emilia was a super kind host. The whole place had lots of natural light, surrounded by a lovely garden area. The kitchen is modern, updated, and fully stocked with all you would need for a short stay. It was quiet at night. The tv in the common area worked well. I had a lot of privacy (there may have only been one other guest.) This was a great place to be a solo traveler and not feel lonely. Very close to the best markets in the area. You can take a taxi or hitchhike to the highest resort near Yenokovan and hike to a waterfall. Makaravank monastery is magical. I recommend you stay here.

Family owned place. Everybody was very friendly. We liked the food a lot. Berkri produce their own wine. Definitely worth trying. Especially the red reserve.
