The room is the same as the pictures on the internet, the decoration style is enamored. All kinds of facilities are very beautifully decorated, health and supplies did not say, clean! People stay very assured. Although the B & B is located in the bustling part of the Ancient City, but also really do the noise in the quiet, sound insulation effect is very good, air conditioning cool and pleasant, I can sleep soundly all night. I will definitely choose this B & B again on my next visit. The boss is a warm and cheerful and love life of the big boy (super handsome! !! Super handsome! !! Super handsome! ! !), Because we came early, the boss took the trouble to help us make tea and coffee, afraid we were hungry. It was right in the middle of old town, but far away from the bars and restaurants so quite quiet, right next to a stream so felt like staying in nature to some extent. Had our own private courtyard though didn’t use much as spent most of the time outside wandering. Owner was super nice and gave us tips about restaurants to try (and to avoid as tourist traps).

Both the husband and wife hosts are very friendly and understanding. They were very helpful in arranging transport for us and were honest throughout our stay. They were also very kind to our kids and even gave us fruits and snacks. The rooms were good and comfortable, with toiletries and enough towels provided for our entire family.

The nicest place I have been in China. The family is just adorable. You will feel like home. If you want to meet Chinese locals that is THE place to go. They will be happy to help, answer your questions and do their best to provide you with your needs. They speak perfect English. The room is huge and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, shower hot, and the location can't be better. Downtown, no cars around, but shops/ cafe/food at a walking distance. Don't miss it!

We loved our stay in Lijang. The Old Town is beautiful and the guest house was in a great location. The room was clean and very cute. The staff at Lewo Guest House were fantastic. They went over and above expectations during our stay. The staff on the desk helped us to organise day trips and getting to our next destination as well as ordering a birthday cake, too. We definitely recommend Lewo Guest House to all who visit Lijang.

Very friendly and helpful hotel operators with lots of tips for hiking routes. Both Chinese and English is spoken. The hotel is located 30 meters from the main shopping street but still absolutely quiet. Clean rooms. It was a very pleasant stay. Baisha as one of the 3 old towns of Lijiang is the ideal starting point for hikes into the Yulong Mountains and yet not far from Lijiangs historical old town.

A hot pot for coffee was provided but they also had a menu. The staff was stellar in assisting me with every need, from mapping and transport, updating my phone etc. One of them took me out into the Ancient Town and we did a night of eating through the whole town, he paid for it. it was fantastic.

    Merry is a very responsive host that tries to fulfil our travel requirements. She helped to arrange value for money airport transfers and local tours (we went fo a day tour Shangri-la and visit most tourist spots along the way). It is such an experience staying in a traditional village guesthouse which is next to Zhongyi market with more than 100 shops and stalls. Near to bus stop to places of interest. We took Bus #101 straight to Yulong Snow Mountain resort for RMB15 one-way and pay our own entrance fee, etc. Very very convenient..

    Amazing guesthouse, one of my favourite stays of all time. Great location and beautiful courtyard with spacious rooms, but what made it particularly special was the hospitality. From Zhang Xueping getting up early to prepare us breakfast every day, even with some extras for the hike, to Joye preparing all details of our hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, they went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and we would go back to this guesthouse just to see them again! The malamutes were the cherry on top!

    Great feel at the hotel, like staying with a family. They are very welcoming and joye was a wonderful host. Loves a good chat in English. The rooms were traditional wooden decor rooms but with with very modern facilities! Perfectly located in the slightly quieter but only slightly 😆 part of the ancient town. Lots of shops and facilities around you, close to the South Gate around 7 minutes walk. Masjid nearby and enough halal options
