The lady at the reception is super sweet, very very friendly, kind and joyful. And then is the cook of the Gasthof, very friendly man and the schnitzel sandwich he gave us as welcome was perfect because right after that we hit the mountains just before sunset. The breakfast is amazingly good (please don't miss their self-made marmelade, cake and yoghurt), and we also had the opportunity to meet another member of the staff who also was super friendly and kind. The place has a beautiful decoration and the room is spatious, clean, the place is very quiet, and the bed comfortable.

Rooms were clean and large. Whole complex always smelt fresh and clean. Owners were very friendly! Breakfast was ample with a variety of fresh rolls, the type changed daily. Boiled eggs available on request. A small lockable compartment in a fridge on the landing was a very welcome find in the heat.

The family-run Landgasthof zur Quelle offers simple rooms, free private parking and a traditional restaurant. It is situated in Seeshaupt-Magnetsried, just 5 km away from the Starnberger See Lake.

A very nice hotel in a total quiet rural land. The breakfast was perfect, with everything you expect in Bayern. I missed the Grill but the restaurant was very good.

Great breakfast at the café. But it cost a 15 Euros/person extra which I only realised at checkout or else we might just have taken breakfast à la carte.
