We added breakfast to our plan. The dining room was well appointed, had a range of fruits, juice, and yogurt and cereal alongside a full English Breakfast cooked to order. A perfect way to fuel a day of sightseeing.

Loved all of it, great location, beautiful bedroom, a little kettle and all kinds of tea and even cookies in the room. Nice and quiet location although it's in the center. I'll come back!

A quiet residential location that is a pleasant walk from the main town with a lovely renovated bedroom and bathroom. We also had Netfix in our room which was good. The bed was very comfortable which helps when you are travelling. Nayem is a really nice person and very easy to deal with if you need anything. So if you like a nice quiet place to stay I would recommend The Vanguard York

Very nice host! It was a great experience and much better than chain hotels. The breakfast was freshly made and they even made sure we had gluten free toast. Lovely, Spiros and Yanes are amazing.
