The area, it's superb, not too crowded with about a dozen places to eat. There's a couple of nice walks nearby including one along the coast to the chapel of St Paul which takes about 2 hours. The water is also clear compared to some of the fine sand beaches.

Our room was spacious, clean and with a stunning view of the Libyan sea. Like all rooms in Agia Roumeli this is a basic hotel but it has been renovated, it's right up near the beachfront, it has Air-conditioning that actually works and the owner of the property and the taverna downstairs is very warm and welcoming.

I highly recommend this familly run hotel! The personnel is very kind and the rooms while they are small,they are vey clean and with excellent wifi. There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel in which we enjoyed delicious local food! The most important is that rooms and hotel have beautiful view on the Lyvian sea! The hotel is on a 2 min walking distance from one of the best beaches in Crete!Excellent value for money!We will come back for sure!

My stay at Gigilos Hotel could not have been better. The hotel is immaculate, spotless clean, very confortable, in the best location, on the beach. Amazing! The owner and stuff are very friendly , welcoming, and helpfull. They have also a very nice restaurant, with a big terrace with sea view, with very good and tasty food and wine. I really recommend this hotel and the restaurant too!! Thank you very much!!
