What a magnificent place to stay! Gorgeous comfortable rooms, a wonderful lounge area all decked out for Christmas with a wonderful fire. Michael and Sian made us feel right at home and we honestly wanted to stay for longer! They left us a toaster and fridge and provisions for snacks after our massive Christmas dinner at Harvey’s Point (highly recommend) and plenty of firewood.

Breakfast was provided, place was immaculately clean, lots of hot water, great shower and very quiet location. Possibly the best place we have stayed in our 3 weeks in Ireland and we work on a budget of around 80 euros, no more than 100 euros.

I can only recommend it. We thought we would stay 1 night but ended up staying 2! Our room was cosy and the breakfast was really nice. Puffin lodge exceeded our expectations. It was conveniently located about 15 mins from Slieve League, and 7 mins from the local town. Tin greeted us on arrival and provided us with a personalised handout including dining recommendations and ride times. All in all, highly recommend this stay.
