I really enjoyed my stay at Johnson's - Johnson was a wonderfully welcoming and generous host who understands exactly what travellers to Alleppy might need. My room was well thought-out with great facilities - especially the mosquito net and aircon! I ordered the breakfast one morning, which was very tasty. I also enjoyed Johnson's tips for visiting nearby sights and meeting his lovely son. I really felt like part of the family! I also took up Johnson's offer of a afternoon/evening backwater tour and was so glad I did: this is not a usual tourist trip. Provided by Valentine, the backwater tour felt incredibly unique and bespoke. We were taken to a very secluded location, from which we took a traditional wooden canoe through the smallest of canals out to a larger stretch - spotting diverse birdlife, snakes and fruit bats along the way. Halfway we received tea and a snack, and the tour ended with a fresh, delicious homemade Keralan meal - the traditional sadhya. The whole trip we only spotted one or two other boats, so at times it felt as though we were the only tourists in Alleppy! Highly recommended.

The two guys who helped us out when we were there were amazing and went above and beyond for us. They helped us with getting data for our phones, 1 am check-ins, recommendations for restaurants, bike rental, tours etc. Really felt comfortable from the start. The rooms are as expected and there is water, tea, a kettle etc in the common areas for you to use whenever you need. There is also a fridge which was useful. The location is good - between the beach front and the town. directly opposite a big supermarket which was useful. Great price!!!

This is one of those place where you feel immediately at home. Allwyn and Jency are just perfect hosts and lovely people. Warm and caring with an open mind and genuinely interested. Jency home-made diners are full of love and delicious. The staff is also very welcoming and respectful. Their 5 sweet dogs are calm and gentile. I was staying in the room with the private pool, the pool is great, everything is decorated with a big eye for details, the garden is lovely and the room is just perfect with a great open air bathroom. The surroundings are lovely, located in a quiet street just a few meters away from the beach. A big plus are the bicycles, which are available for all guests. Marari is a great place to discover by bike. I booked three nights here but I decided to come back because after one month of traveling this was the place which I liked best. I highly recommend a stay at Marari Dreamz and hope to be back.

I recently stayed at for to attend a wedding function, and it was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to local attractions and public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. They even went the extra mile to provide local tips and recommendations, which enhanced my experience.
