First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Beautifull place, in the green under a waterfall and near a little steam. The little houses are perfect, they make you feel at home. The staff is smiling, gentle and very helpfull. Good breakfast and nice view of the Icelandic landscape.

The hotel is on a farm, the reception and the restaurant are by the gates and then The rooms are in two buildings. There is also a museum attached to the restaurant (free of charge). The staff were very good, the rooms were new, well maintained and spacious. Every building has a coffee machine where you can get coffee and tea 24 hours a day for free. We had dinner twice the food was very good and locally sourced. Also the breakfast buffet was good and had lots of options. The glacier is a 15 min drive.

It was exceptional. The view was stunning, the bed was extremely comfy, the room was clean, check in was smooth. Waking up to the view was refreshing, the interior design looks great as well. Enjoyed every second there.

We got the spectacular mountain view room so we could clearly see the glacier outlets. Great location for chasing the northern lights because the surroundings are farms with not much light. The food is nice. We had the signature local langoustine soup and vanilla ice cream for dinner and they were splendid. Rankes among my most favourite dishes in Iceland so far. The room is well equipped and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.

    Self check-in system is very convenient, so you can arrive late at night. The room sufficient for a short stay, one of the beds squeaky. Big decent kitchen shared by guests from the hostel and from a couple of cottages which make the place overcrowded at breakfast time, not to mention only one sink, one toster and too small fridge for so many people. Still, when there are free tables, it’s nice to sit there and watch the views as there are immense windows.

    The room was very clean. The instructions provided by the hosts to access the room were perfect. It just needs a few tries until you master the door keypad. The view from our window was magnificent and the breakfast was good.

    Rooms are bright, new and clean. Possibility to sit in the breakfast room is very good and there are also some amenities / equipment available 24/7. Location is close to ring road but still quiet when it comes to the surroundings.

    Very good stay in this guesthouse. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quiet area, beautiful scenery and chances to see aurora. Beds are comfy, room is big enough.
